Warminster is an old market town which is mainly residential , with many antique / bric-a-brac shops.
It is situated between Bath, known for its Roman baths and Salisbury with its resplendent Cathedral.
Warminster is an easy drive to places such as, Cheddar, Shaftesbury, Wells, Lacock village and Stonehenge.
Also closeby is Longleat house, an Elizabethan stately home, with gardens landscaped by Capability Brown, safari park containing lions, tigers etc.
In fact, Follycot was once part of the Longleat estate.
Frome town ( Somerset ) has several steep hills, some cobbled and pedestrian and is flanked by many small craft art type shops.
